Sports Bench 1.8 is finally here! Yes, I know it’s been over a year since the last update, and I apologize for that. But this new version should kick off a regular development cycle that results in more updates, more features and a better overall product.
The 1.8 update is a pretty simple update. There’s now a batting order and pitching order column for baseball games, a couple of accessibility fixes and new player and team taxonomies for your posts and pages.
The next update will likely focus a lot on the theme and refreshing that design. I plan on rebuilding it up from the WP Rig starter theme to make sure that it’s accessible, loads quickly and has a bit better structure overall, among other things.
